Knowledge Representation (CS 3740)
The course will presuppose familiarity with AI programming techniques and research methods. Specific topics include: logic-based representations, semantic networks, frame-based representations, rule-based methods, object oriented methods, conceptual dependency networks, nonmonotonic reasoning, and specific issues in representation of casual, temporal, and spatial relations.
ISSP 2160, CS 2710 or consent of instructor
This course is usually offered in the spring term.
