ACM TiiS Special Issue on Interactive Visual Analysis of Human and Crowd Behaviors
Dr. Yuru Lin, ISP faculty, is one of the guest editors of a new special issue call at ACM Transactions on Interactive Intelligent Systems (TiiS): "Special Issue on Interactive Visual Analysis of Human and Crowd Behaviors."
Jeya Balaji Balasubramanian, Inteligent System Program student, got the 2016 Hattie Becich Award, the best teaching assistant award for the course 'BIOINF 2119: Probabilistic Methods in Artificial Intelligence' taught during Spring 2016 at DBMI.
IES Education Technology Grant for ISP Director
Professor Diane Litman (Director of the ISP), along with School of Education Professors Richard Correnti and Lindsay Clare Matsumura, have been awarded an Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Education Technology grant: "Response-to-Text Tasks to Assess Students' Use of Evidence and Organization in Writing: Using Natural Language Processing for Scoring Writing and Providing Feedback At-Scale."
